Landmark Community Bank
We know the people that count on us. Landmark Community Bank is a billion-dollar bank that excels in customer service. As a sponsor of this year’s Summer Reading Program, Landmark Community Bank Community Liaison Tom Lawrence shared more about why the company felt called to sponsor the program.
How has reading impacted you?
Reading is a very positive impact in my life. I try to read a book per week, primarily history or biography, perhaps a historical novel once in a while. Reading has influenced me to become a world traveler. My personal library has grown to the point that it requires almost three full rooms. I’ve heard that “if it’s books, it’s not hoarding.” I pray that’s true.
Why is it important for your company to support the local community?
It’s important for Landmark Community Bank to support the community because the community supports us. As we reap profits, we should sew community investments.
What motivates your company to support the Williamson County Library?
We have a working relationship with the Library Foundation Board Chairman, the President of The Friends of the Library, and the Executive Librarian. In community banking, it’s all about the relationships.
