The Big Payback is almost here!
The Big Payback is a community-wide day of giving through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits. This year's day of giving will be held on May 5 and 6.
We’ve all heard the saying about teaching a man to fish rather than giving him some fish. Reading is the same way – no other skill impacts a person’s ability to succeed the way reading does. The Williamson County Library Foundation changes lives through its reading programs for children and teens. These programs foster the joy of reading, enabling more than 2,500 kids in our community annually to develop strong skills that will impact their education and their lives in countless ways. This year, in addition to the Summer Reading Program, the foundation added the Winter Reading Challenge - Reading Without Walls, a program designed to support learning and entertainment during the pandemic.
Please consider making a gift to the Williamson County Library Foundation during the Big Payback. Your gift will help fund numerous programs including: Lego Building Program; AWE After School Edge Computers; the Teen Room; the annual Art Show; theatre and free performances; the Summer Reading Program; and many others.
