Happy Library Week!

2021NationalLibWeek.png

National Library Week is observed in recognition of libraries and library workers, as well as to promote library use and support. Following a year filled with changes and challenges, many around the world dusted off their bookshelves and escaped to worlds of fiction, history, poetry and more. The Williamson County Public Library worked to keep imaginations running safely and effectively all year long.

As part of those efforts, contributions from generous donors like you allowed the Williamson County Library Foundation to continue its Summer Reading Program virtually.

Throughout the summer, the 2020 program saw 437 active readers completing nearly 500 books, with more than 549,000 hours read.

The Williamson County Library Foundation is gearing up for another successful summer this year. The 2021 Summer Reading Program will support weekly summer activities - both in-person and virtual - that make books come to life with puppets, science experiments, crafts and live animals.
