The Foundation sponsored a program for children in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Franklin. Highlights included President Lincoln delivering the Gettysburg Address, Margie Thessin, author of Lizzie's War, hands-on activities with a Civil War Traveling Trunk from the Tennessee State Museum, and Civil War re-enactors.
